The SMA Group of Educational Institutions has been set up by the Ponnammal Educational Trust under the dynamic leadership of Mr. G Rajasekaran, the Chairman for the entire group of SMA Educational Institutions - SMA College of Education, and SMA Matriculation Higher Secondary School and the emerging SMA National Public School(CBSE).

The SMA National Public School is a brand new CBSE school set up under the SMA Group of Educational Institutions. The schools has adopted the CBSC Curriculum and follows NCERT Syllabus.

Admissions open for academic year 2018-19 from Pre KG to Class 1 .

Quad Seek Teaching Methodology for KG

The school has adopted the "Quad Seek" (Activity Based Learning), which is adopted by many American & European schools.

These methodology aides in fast learning, quick memory, analytical skills and effective communication.

ATL Lab (NITI Aayog sponsored)

The school has been recognized under the Atal Tinkering Laboratories (ATLs) scheme which is sponsored by Central Government(Niti Aayog). The project aims to foster curiosity, creativity and imagination in young minds; and inculcate skills such as design mindset, computational thinking, adaptive learning, physical computing etc.
